My I-140 was approved on July 16th. Online status hasn't changed, but my lawyer has received the approval notice today.

why delay

Dhai,

Why is there a 1.5 month delay between the time you got the RFE and the time you responded. Is it that you got the RFE very late from BCIS?

I am in a similar boat where I have been issued an RFE and I am wondering when my attorney would get that???

We (actually my lawyer) received the RFE in one week from when it was issued. There was no delay in receiving it.

As for replying, it was normal time frame. It takes some time to collect documents, arrange them, draft a responce etc.
