Hi, I applied for I-140 and 485 thro concurrent process in April 2003 has anybody got they I-140 approved. It was filed thro Vermont.

Thanks,

A little longer wait for you

The most recent approvals have been for Nov/Dec 02 and Jan 03. Looks like a couple of months before April gets going in volume.

I have been montoring Feb 03 and there has been little to no progress.

Be patient and keep the faith...

If you want your approval faster, why not fight for it? We have many campaigns going on right now that you can either join, or spin off from and start faxing petitions and letters to Congressmen, to put pressure on INS to reduce backlogs.

[This is my first time on this site and i am quite impressed that there is so much info available and every one knows a lot.
I have a question can any one answer.
I filed I-140 ,I -1485 together in AUG 2003 also got EAD approved and Parole approved I am a consultant and My company couldn't find a project for me now i got an offer from some other consulting company and they want me to work for them with the EAD I have .
I am on 7th year extension with my main company .
and I am pretty sure they will not be able to find me a job as I always find my own job and let them do the sub contracting with the clients I find .
I want to know can I work for this company B without effecting my case with company A ..

If your I140 is not approved yet - it might become problematic to change your employer right now. BCIS can issue RFE (request for further evidence) during review of your I140 process. And BCIS frequently asks for your paystabs and your tax returns - in order to verify that you are employed by the same company. And in your case I assume your I140 is employer specific (you are not in EA, OR, or NIW category) meaning that you can not leave your company that applied I140 for you before I140 gets approved and 180 days passed since I485 was filed. After that you can use AC21 in order to change your employer.
