I-140 approval.

My I-140 was filed 01/11/07 and got approved 08/01/07. We did not file concurrently. My I-485 got filed 06/13/07 and still pending. Do we need to do anything for my I-140 approval to get tied up with the I-485 application? Thanks.
 
NO. Nothing you can and have to do.
I got a quick approval for my I140 too in 2.5 months on a regular processing. (got a similar PD like yours).

I am keeping my fingers, toes and "_____" crossed that we may still have chance to slip thru to getting a GC before the FY2007 year end.
