I-140 approval is dependent on RFE on 485?????

All:

My RD for I-140 is April 14th. I asked aobut the status of MY I-140 and they give me this ridiculous answer. They had sent an RFE on my birth certificate which I mailed yesterday.

Comments????

"A request for evidence was requested on 07/23/05 on the I-485 application.
Once
you meet all the requirements on your I-485 application, both I-140 and and
I-485 will be processed together."

I'm confused. If you sent the RFE reply yesterday, isn't it not surprising
that they have not recieved it into their system yet ?

They could not hav received the RFE yet. I mailed it to my lawyer yesterday who will mail (not e-mail) it to them. But thats besides the point. RFE on 485 has nothing to do with approval of I-140!!!

USCIS is kinda inconsistent about it(and everything else)
and it's just non-deterministic.

All in all, I think yours is almost done.
Most people get quick approvals after RFE has been replied...
