I-140 Approval, 6+months filing...

Gurus,

Need your input on how the below scenario plays out..

- I-140 is approved
- I-485 was filed concurrently with I-140 and
- 6+ months have elapsed since the concurrent filing.

Something happens to my current job...do I risk losing the entire GC process? I do know about AC21..however, for the sake of discussion, lets assume I do not take advantage of AC21.

Also keep in mind that I-485 is a purely applicant driven stage and got nothing to do with the sponsoring company....

Hi

AC21 is safer for you as you got the I-140 approved. Should something go wrong with your current job, do not hesitate to file AC21 immediately even before your employer sends out any request for Revocation of I-140.
