I-140, application in "extraordinary ability", help

Hello,
Anyone's advice here would be greatly appreciated.

I am on H1B and I consider starting GC in the "extraordinary ability" category. Just wondering, how hard is it for someone with PhD in economics, 1 publication in top journal, and plenty of other research papers, small awards, presentations etc. to get approved? (would I qualify for the NIW?). I work in a corporation.
(my company could sponsor me but only in the EB2 category)

Please, share your experience. Many thanks.

I would suggest that you file NIW as well as regular EB 1 category. It is possible. That way, if NIW doesnt work(because it is getting very hard these days) atleast your regular will be in process.
