I-140 Appeal Travel to Canada

Current my I-140 and I-485 are in appeal and MTR stage. I need to travel to Canada for landing. Currently I am in H1B staus without visa stamp. Is there any risk to come back to US by using "Automatic Revalidation of Visa" .

If you maintain a valid (with I-797 approval notice) temporary visa status, then you are good to go. Other option is to use the Advanced Parole - this remains valid when the I-485 is under MTR or Appeal.
 
If you have valid 797 notices, stamping in the Consulate should not be a problem. You should carry the MTR receipt notices with you as proof to show that is still pending.
