Hi,
My labor was certified from the DOL backlog center in Jan 2007. I do not have a four-year degree. My employer had mentioned "4 year degree" on the ETA-750, but he failed to mention, "Equivalent in education and experience will be considered."
Luckily, in all the newspaper advertisements, it was very clearly mentioned, “equivalent in education and experience will be considered.”
After receiving the approval, my employer had submitted an amendment request with the backlog center to add “education & experience” part to ETA 750.
After waiting for few months, he made a couple of phone calls with DOL and they are saying that they are currently reviewing my employer’s request.
I am very confused. What is my best bet now?
Please advise,
-srini
