I just received a call from my lawyer, she told me that my Labor Certification is complete and she is going to start my I-140 and I-485 soon through Nebraska Service Center. So I started browsing to know the priority and status dates.
I-485 is taking alarmingly more than 2 years to complete. Do we have to wait all those two years before we can change job/employer?
What's the state where once its been 6 months since, then we can change job if we wish? Or am I totally way off? I always thought its the 485 stage. Are there any more stages after 140 and 485 that I have to go through?
