Current status H1B - Mar,2012.
While working for company A
Labor was filed on Nov,2007 and got approval in Feb, 2008.
Filed I-140 in May,2008 and got approval in Oct,2008.
In the mean time company B took over company A, but kept my payroll on company A tax ID.
In Jan,2009 company B moved me to their Tax ID, but forgot to amend my H1.
Now they are filing my H1 amendment and also I-140 amendment.
1. Is my work status ok and with in law?
2. If I change my company before the I-140 amendment go through, can I keep my priority date?
