I-140 amendment related question???

Hello Everyone,

I got I-140 before acquired my co(X) with (Y). I did send I-1485 document along with new co letter head and paystub, but didn't send I-140 amendmend. So Anyone can let me know, do
I have to apply for I-140 amendment and send it to INS once i get receipt#.

Please let me know if anyonce come accross this kind of situation.
