I-140 Amendment Issue

I am employee of company A, a division of which is being sold to company B. Hence all employees in this division will move to the rolls of company B.

Company B will file amendment petition for I-140 for all those who have moved from company A and have approved I-140. If this amendment petition gets rejected due to any reason will the approved I-140 petition filed by company A remain valid.

Hi,

I am in the same situation and looking for an answer too. Also my I140 gor approved in EB3, and I need to amend it to be in EB2 since my LC was MS OR BS+5 years.

if someone has any idea to this situation please do respond
