I-140 & 485 RFE

1) I have sent reply to I-140(Principal) & 485(spouse, medical) RFE.
2) Packet was delivered in morning on January 14, 2005.
3) How much time it will take USCIS to acknowledge it.
4) Will they change our online status.

please advice, i know lots ppl here went through this...

it will take the USCIS anywhere from 3 days upwards before the RFE is acknowledged. Usually give them a week's time..

Usually the LUD will change to ack the receipt, but again i have known cases where the LUD is not changed, but the approval granted instead.

There is no 100% rule on how things are processed but most of the cases that I know of where an RFE was issued, the processing of the RFE has been within week or 2. Depends in the end on the complexity of the issues..
