A friend of mine asked me to sponsor her via I134. She needs me to fill out all the info in the below form in order for her to stay in this country as a student and be admited to a certain college(she is currently in the US). She does not live with me and is not dependent on me in any way( i help her out here and there, but nothing major).
I need to know what kind of a financial liability am i getting myself in to by signing this form. Is this a binding contrat to support her no matter what.
She is currently working and says she will never need my financial help, although i trust her... i dont want to leave myself open for something out of left field.
If for example she is going to try to find a way to stay in this country.. etc.

Also.. can i put her as a dependent on my taxes, if i do fill out this form? If anyone has any insight, i'd appreciate the info.
