I-134 Plus Job Offer !!!

All of you ever hear about this situation?
The consular asked for not only Affidavit of Support, but also Job Offer Letter from DV applicant.
I wonder why they need both of them. They marked it in the missing document checklist. Could applicant ask for free- Job Offer Letter? that means he/she submit only I-134.

As we generally know it is not easy to find job if we don't have SSN or green card, especially person who still live oversea and want to find job in the united state.

OK, let share your brilliant idea here . . .
 
Look this evidence of support is a really vague category. The requirements seem to vary by the embassy.

A Nepali family was asked for I-134 in London, where as a family here in Kathmandu itself(with much lower income and savings) were asked for nothing.

Not equal. why they operate bullshit program ha? So many winners struggle to find sponsor.
I assume 3 of 10 DV applicants give up to pursue their dream cos of no support from US.
It is lottery. They should provide more incentives for winners.

It is pretty inconsistent. I don't understand the request for Job Offer when like you say a green card is required first in most cases.
 
Hi, I mean that we haven't got visa yet. We currently live outside US.How can we find job or are offered job in US.
It is not easy to do so.
- Sponsor is one thing, but Job Offer is one more thing.

What is the DV requirement exactly?

Hello, this is really depends upon who is interviewing. But this is really inconsistency and unfair. After all this is lottory, one in many thousand !!! The main requirement is to have a required degree. If this met, why I-134 or job offer bla bla ....bullshit. This is just one way of many to generate revenues to meet their salary from poor people like us to put more pressure in financially infact who already poor in many ways. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

sentiment against new immigrants is growing here in the USA due to bad economic situation -more than 50% of the ''members of the public'' by recent pools expresed opinion that unemployed immigrants ( gc holders) should be ''asked to leave '' and that only ones with ''exceptional'' skills should be alowed to emigrate to the USA in the first place -''job offer'' could become arbitrary request in order to ''trim down'' number of prospect immigrants -gc holders
