I-134, does 401k fall under stocks held?

I was wondering if my 401k balance can be used under stocks/bonds held in Item 7 on the form.
What are your thoughts?

I134 was not always requested.

MJ1, I don\'t think so. Because

401K balance cannot be liquidated very easily as Stocks/Bonds. Stocks/Bonds are almost same as cash. I think In I-134 column they are looking for how much liquidatable cash you have available.

From what I have learnt, the things that you mention on I134, just need to provide enough evidence that you are able to support the person you are mentioning. It is not a complete statement of all your assets. Typically, just your salary is good enough for this. But if you are concerned about that you can add other things. Just my 2c worth....
