All,
I got my Greencard through asylum. I want to apply for reentry permit because it is good for 2yrs instead of RTD which is good for 1yr. To avoid being denied the RP, what reason do I give? esp. where form asks for
1. intended trip dates
2. length of trip
3. Class of admission
e.g. if I put trip date of say May 25 for 2 weeks, won't they ask why then I need 2 yr doc? so do I need to put in multiple trip dates to justify my request for the longer RP? by multiple trip dates I mean tell them all my future trips that I intend to make up until the end of the 2 yrs. What happens if then I am unable to travel at all those dates? Is there a penalty for not travelling on dates listed on application?
