I-131 Re-entry Permit

I got my green card in May 2002 and i applied for I-131 reentry permit on 17th Feb 2005 and i got extension till 16th Feb 2007.
From 6th Feb 2005 am in India i want to ask you do i have to come to US once in a year even though i have I-131.
How does it will affect my citizenship

Here is my personal opinion:

I do not think you NEED to go back to the US once a year.

However, if you do so, I think it shows ties to the US, especially if you were planning on being gone for 2years (re-entry permit).

I hope somebody else will give you his thoughts.
