I-131 Lost in the Mail/Desperate with No Answers from USCIS

We were informed by the customer service number after 30 days that our I-131 papers were returned back to the service center as undeliverable. This is strictly due to an error on the US Postal Service's part.
We were then told we would be contacted within 45 days. 32 Days already passed and we did not receive anything. I am afraid that there is once again an issue with the mail.
The customer service number will not say anything else than we would be contacted within 45 days. I am quite confident after 32 days that we will not receive anything within the 45 days.
What can we do at this point? What is normally received within 45 days. What happens after 45 days. We have already notified the local post office that we were missing mail. Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
