I-131 AP Doc Local Office

Hello All,

Can i apply i-131 at local office? One of my friend told me that instead of sending by mail (all documents), submit at local office. Is there any risk associated with this?

Any input appreciated.

Apply at Service Center

You must send the AP application (I-131) to the service center or local office of USCIS, wherever your case is pending.

Local offices issue Advance Parole (for those cases which are pending at Service Centers) only if you have a family emergency and you could provide documentation ragarding the emergency to USCIS.
