I-131 and 485 are separate, right?

All, my wife and I applied for 485 on May 12th and I applied for an I-131 as my H1 stamping will expire soon.
I've gotten an email about an RFE about the 131. I don't have the RFE with me just yet, only the email.
Does this mean that the 485 processing will also be held up?
