I-131 Advanced Parole Processing stalled?

Does anyone have a clue was to why I-131 Advance Parole processing has completely stalled at the California Service Center? From 08/01 to 08/15 the processing did not advance one day. It has been over 90 days since I submitted my AP application.
 
It's for the same reason as AOS - religious workers, sunsetting of the law that enabled them to get a GC - should last until end of next month.

Sorry to be a bit dense, what is AOS.
Do you have a link to information about the "sunsetting" you are referring to?

Thanks for the (depressing) info. More than my attorney knows, apparently.

Of course one might think that in light of the delays in AOS, processing of AP's would be a good idea so at least people can get on with their jobs if it involves intl. travel. But when did commonsense ever come into it!
