Hi all

My husband applied for my I-130 in Dec 2000 when he was a green card holder. He became a citizen in May 2002 and sent letter for upgrading the I-130, but nothing has been done yet. Is it possible for me to go ahead and apply for I485, AP and EAD in my regional service center?

Did any one get AP approved when I-485 is pending?

An Advanced parole is a document which lets you travel outside the US on a temporary basis while your I485 is being adjudicated.

Please ask your husband to contact his Congressman or Senator's office. INS is notorious for not upgrading these Immediate Relative petitions on a timely basis
