I-130 Status

Hi,

I am a US Citizen and I filed the I-130 Visa petition for my wife in New Delhi in Jan, 2003. She has received the tick form and sent it last week to Madras embassy. They are saying they have not received it yet. However, does anybody know how long it takes before they respond to the tick form and what to expect for the visa interview. What documents does my wife have to take with her to the interview.

hi, when you file I-130, do you need to give original naturalization certificate / US birth certificate along? if so, how soon it will be returned? I-130 asked for original plus a copy for each doc.
