Hello. Please help me. My USC husband signed the form I-130 in both petitioner's filed and in preparer's filed by mistake. He will be out of the country for few weeks. We have all the documents ready to file and were planning to do it asap. Is it ok if we send the form signed twice?
Thank you very much.

If he's already OFC for few weeks, you have nothing to lose. Go ahead and file it. Hopefully Mr Holmes at USCIS will be able to decipher that your husband is the petitioner and not preparer. Or maybe you can override his signature with a white tape or paper sticky in the preparer's section.

On my son's I-485, I pasted a yellow sticky and wrote, "father signing in lieu of minor son"....maybe u can do something along similar lines and write, "incorrectly signed under preparer's section. Jason<your hubby's name> is the petitioner and NOT the preparer"

Worst thing that happens is the return it for correction.
