Hello Members,
Recently I received RFE on I130 because Birth registration was DELAYED. What documents can help to address the RFE to prove sibling relationship as well
oldest document what I have is class 8th marks sheet which have my father name and my DOB but not mother name.
I do not have any religious document
no hospital documents
Could some one please guide me what all documents can be helpful to address the RFE .
Or any other suggestions.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Susie for quick response.
Yes they gave DNA test as well. Along with DNA test what other documents could be relevant Any suggestion please.

Well you’re saying in your earlier post you don’t have any of the kinds of documents they ask for ? So DNA seems the best bet it seems to me.

I am so sorry about confusion.
I have following documents. Does that look suffice? or you recommend these documents + Sibling DNA test is the best approach.
Class 8 Marksheet have my father name and DOB
Matriculation certificate have my father name and DOB
Transfer certificate from Intermediate (class 12th) college
old passports have parents name and DOB
Mother's Death certificate
However delayed birth certificate we have already submitted

please suggest.

What does the RFE actually ask for? I can’t comment without knowing that. The ones I have seen before due to late issued birth certificate specifically ask for documents from early life stages (sometimes only first year of life, sometimes first few years) but those are to prove parent-child relationships so I don’t know if this is different.

See this (scroll down to secondary evidence in link) is typically the kind of thing I have seen being requested ... they are all from early years ...so the actual wording of your RFE may matter, depending whether it states that. The one we got said “Early public records issued at or near the time of your birth ...” , I have seen others saying things like contemporaneous (to time of birth) evidence is the most persuasive, similar types of things ... if yours is not so specific then maybe high school records will be acceptable. When you talk about old passports, how soon after birth were those issued?

Yeah, so that’s pretty much the standard one. Unless the passports were issued at a very early age, you don’t seem to have much else from the time period they are looking for. Also you say the school stuff lists your father, but the RFE is specifically asking for evidence that shows the same mother. I’d definitely add in dna if I were you. (I know they say it doesn’t guarantee approval, but I’ve never seen a report of a case where it’s been unsuccessful.) Judging from some other threads I’ve seen, if what you send in response to the RFE is not enough for them they don’t come back again and ask you for more, they then just deny the case, so I would certainly go the more cautious route.

@SusieQQQ Thanks for all you suggestion I have already processed for DNA testing .I have given below questions regarding while responding back to RFE how to address following. Please suggest.

The answers to those questions are going to be very country specific, sometimes even region specific. Suggest you try find a forum that has people from your home country to see specific documents etc they use.

yes I will try to find in some forum .In India no one is going to provide that certificate of non-existence like early school in which I used to study was private and no longer exist , medical record etc.
and as we already provided delayed birth certificate the municipal corporation will not provide how did they corroborative evidence.
