Hi All.
Prior to starting this thread I did some research on keywords and didn't find any reply that would prevent me from opening another thread (will be glad to read matching threads that I would have missed).
I placed a request to expedite the process of my family's I-130. Even though the reasons are within USCIS criteria, the request was refused right away (by e-mail) with the following reason "Unfortunately, we are unable to honor that request because there are no visa available for your relative?s preference category.
Your petition will be processed within the normal processing time here at the Center"
Has someone already gone thru the same request and refusal? What has he done in order to overcome such a refusal?
As a permanent resident is it really useful to make such a request or is it always comdemned to the same refusal? I suspect that it is a different story for US citizens.
Any experience share would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
