Hello,

I have a quick question about my I-130 and would appreciate, if someone please suggest what needs to be done in my case:

Background: I am a US citizen by birth and haved applied green card for my parents. Parents application I-130 application was approved by USCIS with additional request to provide supporting documentation. while i collect the requested info - i have one questions here:

I have two brothers. One is 16 years and second one is over 25 years. what will happen to them in this case? does my brothers be granted to travel along with my parents to US?

appreciated if someone please suggest what needs to be done here?

Many thanks in advance,
Asha

As far as my knowledge, your 16 year old brother might be able to join your parents as dependent. But 25year one has to wait until your parents become citizen and files for him as unmarried son/daughters of US citizen. (If at all he gets married by hindu rituals than still he has to show that he is not married by not registering the marriage in civil court, so that he comes into the category of unmarried son/daughters)

Cheers
KC

You can ONLY petition for you parents as immediate relatives. You must petition for you brothers separately (as FB4 category, which is 10+ years wait). Age has nothing to do with it. Your parents can petition for both them as long as they'll become PR and it'll be faster in fact (FB2) than your petition.
