You mean you lost it? If so, you can file form N-565 to replace it.vsr1957 said:On Question B13, it asks for my Naturalization Certificate Number and Issuance. I can no longer find my Naturalization Certificate. I just have my US passport. What do I do? How do I answer this question?
Thanks.

I don't think so. You might be called for an interview if they have any questions. But you have to know that it takes a long time to get a new certificate (a year or even more). Don't you have any copies? How long ago you got your certificate?vsr1957 said:Thanks. On the N-565 form it again asks me for the Certificate Number which I don't know because I lost my Naturalization Certificate. What di I do now. Will they turn it down if I don't have one?

Logically, your passport is enough proof of your citizenship. Thus, you should be able to petition your wife. Maybe you CAN use your passport to petition her? Call the 800 number and try to talk to an immigration officer (not just the operator) to get an answer.vsr1957 said:Anahit, Oh my goodness!! I am filling out paperwork to petition my wife. So, you mean to say I have to wait a year because I need to get this certificate first in order to petition my wife? I lost this certificate in the 90's and I don't have a copy - only my passport. Isn't that enough? Boy, where do I go from here?
