Hello.
I am a US citizen and I am preparing forms to get my wife a green card. She is currently living with me in Los Angeles, California and I have 2 questions.

Q1: In I-130

Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States adn will apply for adjustment of status.
Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:

_____________ ________________
(City) ................... (state)

What am I supposed to put in there? Should I put Chicago, Illinois where I will send papers? or should I put Los Angeles where we will have the interview?

Q2. In I-130

If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together

In and my wife started to live together in Long Beach and recently moved to our current address.
Am I supposed to put our current address or Long Beach where we lived together previously?

Thanks!

A little common sense here. Put the state where you're currently living for Q1 and your current address for Q2.

Actually, my bad, let me do some research on question number 1 and I'll get back to you. DON'T put in anything for Q1 yet. If you already have, get a white out ready just incase.

The answer to Q1 is your district office. You need to go to the USCIS website to figure out which office will adjudicate your case. Even though you file to the Chicago Lockbox, your case is completed at your DO.

Thanks for clearing that up, Dr. I had the answer in the back of my head, I just wanted to make sure it was correct. Good luck to you with your case.

Thanks.

I checked with USCIS website.
They have a service center in Laguna Niguel,
and a district office in Los Angeles and a sub office in Santa Ana.

Which one of these should I put? Laguna Niguel or Los Angeles or Santa Ana?

Not sure about the Laguna Niguel service center but both Los Angeles and Santa Ana office list filing procedure for I-485. I live closer to Santa Ana than Los Angeles.

Maybe I should put Santa Ana?
Anyone know this for sure? I live in Fullerton, Orange County

The California Service Center won't be processing your case, so don't put them.

As for whether its Santa Ana or Los Angeles, it depends one where you live. The web pages for both of these service centers should give you some clue as to which center's jurisdiction you fall into.

Thanks!!
I think I can file at Santa Ana since I live in Orange County.
