I-130 Question 22

I apologize for the repeat thread, but I've searched this form and other places and I get conflicting answers.

We're filing everything at the same time (i-485, i-130, etc.) and question #22 asks about "Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at USCIS office in_______" I get conflicting responses for this. Do I put an office I live near, which I think is in Seattle? Or do I put the office I'm actually submitting this form to (which I think is the office in Nebraska for the state of Washington)?

As well, for the next part where it asks "If your relative is not eligible for Adjustment of Status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in ____________" Do I just put something like, say, Vancouver Canada or Toronto Canada?

Thanks!

If you are filing everything concurrently (I130, I485 etc.) for adjustment of status, you should send the entire package to Chicago lockbox. Please check USCIS website carefully and first page of the AOS timeline sticky thread in this forum for info.

Since you are planning to adjust status in US, I130 Q22 you should put USCIS district office with jurisdiction over your area (e.g. Seattle, WA) and enter "none" in American consular post.
