i-130 processing time

hey all....this ismy first time so here goes.MY wife is a us citizen who lives in boston.we recently got married in march.she sent in i-130 april 30,2010.my question is how long does it take to receive noa from uscis since she has not received it to date.also can anyone give me an idea as to how long uscis takes to approve i-130?& which center is responsible for processing cases from massachusetts?
 
you should have received the NOA1 by now. but the approval takes longer. it took 5months for us. for others, 3. it really depends...
 
uscis received the package may 4 accoding to postal service>>>>i would be grateful if u could give me ur timeline for whole process>>>that would help greatly.....thanks in advance
 
Hi there,
It's hard to answer your question, because everyone's case is processed differently and it always can take unexpected turn. My I-130 is processed in Texas. Five months have passed and I am still waiting for approval. One of my friends waited 2 months, but another took 3 years (husband citizen). The bottom line is that you will never really know how long it will take to process your case. Just be patient and wait...
 
hey all....some good news.my wife received noa yesterday.she has oath ceremony on may 20th so she'll send in naturalisation certificate very next day.how does she do so? & how long for noa2?please advise
