My mother-in law has pending I-130 (5yrs) on behalf of her over-aged (25yrs) and unmarried son under a green card status. She is about to become a citizen and one option is to upgrade his pending application.
The other option is have him get married prior to her oath and file addendment to his I-130 as married son and upgrade his application so both of them could come at the same time.
Which option would allow her son to come to US sooner ???
