Hello Joef and all,
I married to U.S. citizen girl 7 years ago and have been in U.S. since 6 years.
After staying together 1 year in U.S., we jointly filled I-751 for removal of my conditional g.c. (after 1 year and 9 months of marriage aniversory date)
After staying 2 years togethre in U.S. , she filled for divorce.
And, the divorce was granted after 1 year of filling. (3 months before the divorce granted, I got my permanent G.C.)
(Total marriage life 4 years, My total stay in U.S. 3 years, Total stayed togethere in U.S. with wife 2 years, total seperation period 1 year)
After 4 months of divorce, I got married again in India (arrnage marriage), and i filled for her I-130. Also, after 5 years of stay in U.S. I filled for my N-400-citizenship.
I passed my citizenship exam and had an oath ceremony scheduled. The week before the oath ceremony, I was being called for my wife's I-130 interview. I came to know that because of my ex wife's some revengeful letters to INS, I was being suspected of marriage fraud.
The INS officer called other office and cancelled my oath ceremony, to investigate the case.
There is nothing wrong in my case, but my lawyer said it might take 1 year or GOD knows how long for them to come to a decision.
I have one 6 months old cute son, and wife in India since 2 years. I have no prob. going back to India if INS takes any decision, Is there any way that we could force INS to expedite their decesion, because I absolutely have not done anything wrong.
Thank you,
