I-130 approval notice???
Hi everyone!
I have a problem because my I-130 was approved on May 3, but I still haven't received the Approval Notice (we filed I-130 at the end of January, and I filed I-485 and I-765 at the end of May). So they sent me an email about my I-130 being approved and said they had already sent the notice through the regular mail. So I was waiting and waiting and didn't receive anything. So at the beginning of June we called the USCIC customer service to ask about it, they said they had some problems sending mail, and promised they would resend it. Still didn't receive anything. So three days ago we called the customer service again, but this time they said I have to file I-824 to ask for a duplicate and pay $200 fee!!! Why would I do it if I haven't received the original copy in the first place?
What do you think about it and what should I do?
And do I really need this Approval Notice since my other applications are being processed? (With I-485 I included the copy of that email I got from them and a copy of NOA we got after filing I-130).
I am just worried that the email said to follow the instructions on the approval notice. Since I didn't see it, I don't know what those instructions are. Has anyone seen this approval notice? What does it say??
Any help appreciated!!
Thanks!
