Dear folks, please answer this issue, its very important what should we do at this situation.
Oct 5, 2004 we went for interview for I-130, Marriage based. The interview went well every document was completed and immigration officer was satisfied with our answers.
My wife’s last name on birth certificate is different what she has last name on marriage certificate. The officer ask about this and my wife tells her (immigration officer) that when she was very young her mother adopted her (my wife).
The immigration officer requests us to provide the Adoption decree. As we research by our self but we are unable to find her adoption record. Because she was adopted somewhere in California (She born and raised in Chicago) and she is not in contact with her mother any more for a long time. Immigration officer kept my I-94 and she said to me to submit Adoption decree.
Please advice what should we submit on behalf of this that we are unable to find the adoption decree. Please help me out, to get resolve this issue. What should we do? Please suggest any thing that make it possible. Please please please, I have seen you reply best of your knowledge.
Please reply immediately. Thanks and very glade to all of you.
