Hello All,
I am a US Citizen and planning to apply for my Parents GC (I-130) asap, which will take around 10-12 months to complete.
While their I-130 is in process they are planning to visit me in Summer-2015 on their Valid 10 years visitor visa (visited once on that visa back in 2011). Both of them are Retired State Government Employees;

1. Will there be an issue for them at the POE while entering the US, due to their I-130 being in process?
2. Are there any helpful documents they can bring to show at POE to prove their intent of visitors and guarantee of return within the allowed time?

As always I really appreciate your time and advice.
Thank you.

It's better not filing I-130 for them before they enter the USA.
They will come to the USA first for visiting and traveling, about 3 months later, you can file I-130 for them, at the same time they can file I-485, I-693, I-765 and I-131 (optional), attaching your I-864 to the I-485.

Lucy, thanks for your reply. I am also planning to apply for my in-laws who will arrive in 1st week of feb.
why did you say "3 months later" though.
As my in-laws' ticket is from feb to July, I was planning to file for them immediately.
I don't know how long is it taking now for I-130 & I-485 but I was thinking if I file right away after they are here gives us better chance to finishing the process before july.
BTW, my wife & I are citizens and my in-laws have been in US for extended time before.
