Please, I want to know if anyone have had this kind of experience and how they resolved it.
I and my spouse received denial letters for her i-130 petition and my i-485 application.
On the i-130 denial letter, it stated that a NOID letter requesting for additional evidence was sent to my spouse and attorney but letter was returned by the postal service. As such, they denied my wife's petition and my AOS application.
This was a big shock to me because we did not receive any NOID letters which they claimed the sent on September 2006. It is quite unfortunate because I made upto four attempts to seek for information regarding my interview at my USCIS local office but everytime I spoke with the immigration officers they told me that my case was pending. I did not have any choice but to wait patiently for a decision.
Another thing that suprises me is that the present online status for i-485 is pending and i-130 still approved. The i-130 was approved since March and I received the approval letter soon afterwards.
I just feel that the immigrations officers that interviewed me do not want to approve my application for personal reasons.
I just feel bad because my marriage is genuine and I tried to the best of my ability to play by the books. Now, I am at risk of loosing my job and many more. My wife and step kids will suffer if my situation worsen.
I will utilize my attorney to appeal the case but I don't trust the system after this kind of experience.
