I-130 & I-485 - appying together.

Hi,
My wife (F1 Student) and I (U.S citizen) are done with our paperwork for filing my wife's AOS - I-485. Can we file both 130 and 485 in the same single envelope or does it necessarily have to be in different envelopes?

Also, is it required for my wife to file I-864A if I am not claiming her on the income sheet in I-864. This was not very clear to me.
