I-130 Help Please

I need help w/I-130 application to petition for my mother. I am filling on my own and I don't know the ABC's on how to do so... Any information will be helpful.

My main concern.

1. What supporting documents to send with I-130 Application to petition for my mother. My mother doesn't have a birth certificate on hand, but I have her Passport photo copies. Will that do the trick??

2. What envelope to use to mail in the application? Or can I drop it off @ local USCIS district office.

1. Please refer to USCIS.com website and 1st page of parents sticky thread in this forum. Anyways, for mother's I130, you will need copy of your naturalization cert, your birth certificate and your marriage cert (if your current name is different than at time of your birth). Later on for your mom's I485, you will need her BC or non availability cert + 2 affidavits.

2. Use any good envelope :) and mail it to USCIS service center for your area.
 
If the USCIS site was that useful I wouldn't come here. I like to see practical experience but I do appreciate your reply's :) . My situation is that my mother can not obtain a birth certificate @ all, we tried :mad:. I am wondering if any other proof of relationship between my mother and I could be accepted e.g. passport, photos, etc, etc,....... One more question! Can I drop off the application at local USCIS District Office?
 
The USCIS website has information, as well as this forum and places like www.visajourney.com. But nobody is just going spoon-feed it to you.

If she does not have a BC or can not get one, then you will need a certificate of non-availabilty and 2 sworn affidavits from people older than her than can testify when she was born.

And NO, you can not drop it at the local USCIS office, you need to follow the instructions on the I-130 form, that is what you need to do first READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
