Hi everyone,
Me and my hubby(USC) are struggling for quite a while to send the forms in. We've already put together all the papers, but we cannot get my hubby's divorce papers for his first marriage. he got married in a village and the registry got burned down 10 yrs ago. He was married twice before , once back home a long time ago , in 87, and once in here in 96 till 2002 - we have all the documentation for this marriage(her DOB, divorce ) - but we don't have anything other than the 1st wifes name. we are struggling to get her infos(trying to reach her in any way) for 2 months now with no succes.
Now, I know you're asking how can you help us, slightest chances for you to know her, I know , I know-
, do you guys think I stand at least a chance not to get a RFE if I send the papers only with her name, and the dates blank, and a separate piece of paper with an explanation that we couldn't get the infos, that we've been trying really hard, but we couldn't get them, and we are gonna still try to get them until the interview date.
i know you are no attorneys -but you either slept at Holiday Inn last night, or are laypersons and that makes it good enough
- I'm just asking for 2nd opinions
thanks a lot
