I am eligible for Naturalization next year and have a few questions about an issue related to the process. My wife is currently in the USA with me as a non-immigrant (TPS status) and there is a pending I-130 application for her. Due to personal reasons, my wife would like to leave the USA and immigrate to another country.
My questions are:
1. Will this negatively affect her I-130 application? Can't I just send in an update request to have her address updated to the foreign address and give the name of the consulate in the country she is moving to? We can then process the immigrant visa from abroad.
2. If my wife decides to leave the USA permamently, will this affect my naturalization process? I ask because they have a section on the N-400 that asks about the spouse's information (including A# and status in USA).
3. If she does move, who do we have to notify about her departure? Is there an address we need to send something to?
