I-130 for parents

Hi,

Did anybody filed I-130 for parents after July 1st?

I filed for my parents in July (July 25th) and still waiting for the receipt. It has been more than 4 months now. I called USCIS and they told that they have received huge number of applications and that is why it is taking so long.

Raj,

Mailed mine Nov 12, 2007 for parents too. I expect about 3-6 months until I receive the NOA from CSC. From August 1-November 23, 2007 the Service Center have been processing I-130 for the August 2007 filers. So yours will be on the mail soon.
