I am US citizen, I applied for I-130 for my mother in 2007 with consular processing. I-130 was approved and forwarded to NVC which finally sent application to mumbai consulate india. Mumbai consulate set a interview date that she could not make it to that interview because my mother was sick, so they mumbai consulate closed the visa application. MY question is, my mother is now in US on visitor visa, and I checked the I-130 status in USCIS site and it says it it approved still. Can I just apply for a I-485 adjustment of status for her now based on this I-130 or do I need to file a new I-130 again ? Thanks
