I-130 Filing

I need to file I-130 for my wife. I am a naturalized citizen of the United States. The form says to submit original naturalization certificate to USCIS. Is this true? I am just afraid that CIS might lose it and it will be a big pain to get it back.

I appreciate any help regarding this.

that's not true, u can send copys of all documents including proff of citizenship
