Hi,
We just sent the I-130 (petitioning for my wife) through FedEx, to the address that the USCIS website says to use for commercial carriers. Unfortunately, when my wife drove it to the FedEx office, I forgot to tell her to put my name instead of hers in the Sender column.
Although it's too late to fix it, I'm wondering (just for my sanity and peace of mind) whether USCIS will look at the envelope, or only at the contents. The cover letter and forms are all done as me applying for her; it's just the FedEx label that mentions her as the sender.
Will this be a problem, or will they most likely throw out the envelope and just look at what's inside?
Thanks.
