Help please, My wife and I sent forms I-130, I-485, & I-765 at the same time although we screwed up and didn't send them to the same address... We have received a notice of action for the I-485 & I-765 which were both rejected. We have not received any notice of action for the I-130 although the check has already been cashed and it has been over a month... Do we need to keep waiting for the notice of action for the I-130 in order to re-send the I-485 or should we send a copy of the original I-130 along with the I-485. Also, how long does it usually take to receive a notice of action for form I-130? I'm beginning to worry that maybe it got lost in the mail :(. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am thinking to re-send the I-485 & I-765 with a copy of the original I-130 and include a cover letter in the package stating that the original I-130 was sent to the Chicago lockbox and the check has been cashed but have not received a notice of action (check was cashed 10/17/2008)

Should I do something like this or wait until I receive a notice of action for the I-130?

If it has been over 30 days, call them and inquire. I sent 102 in July and never received anything and my check was cashed. I kept calling every 30 days from Aug to Oct! All they time the kept telling me they will send me a notice in mail :p I never received anything. So early this month, I just packaged my 102 again and wrote a cover letter detailing all my calls and everything. I saw an update online they issued me an 1/94 on Fri. This was really a shot in the air. So you may want to call first, and then send everything again if that doesn't work.

OK I called USCIS and was transferred to an officer today... I got the receipt number from her and when I put the receipt number in online case status check the status does show up. So now my question is can I print off the case status from the internet and send it with the I-485 & I-765 or do I need the actual notice of action I-797?

It may be a while before your receipt no. shows up. In my case I had the case online, so I printed it. But again, mine was just 102 - replacement of I/94
