I 130 approved...now what?

I am a US Citizen married to a Czech National. We submitted the 130/485/765 at the local office in NYC, 26 Federal Plaza. We had our interview on June 16, 2005 in Garden City and, like so many others, were told that our case could not be approved because the security clearance was not complete.

Today, I received an automatic email update from USCIS that our 130 was approved. I checked the status on our 485 and the system could not find the record (I check everyday, and the message that "the results of our fingerprints ...... " message was there yesterday). Can someone tell me what an approved 130 means in relation to getting a green card? Does it mean that the security clearance is done? Can we use the 130 approval notice to get my wife's passport stamped?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated !!!

Below is our timeline for your reference:

11/03: submitted 130/485/765 to 26 Federal Plaza
12/03: received NOAs for all
1/04: 1st FP
6/04: went down to 26 Fed Pl for EAD
10/04: 'white' EAD approved and received
6/05: interview in Garden City (not adjudicated due to incomplete background check)
6/05: 2nd FP
7/05: applied for renewal EAD
8/05: 3rd FP (not sure why we she was asked to get fingerprinted a third time)
9/05: EAD renewal approved and received
9/05 (today): email advising that 130 was approved

I 130 approval means that the officer has agreed to approve your case upon receiving your Name Check. No, this does not qualify you for stamp in passport. Sorry.... I am in the same boat...

Thanks for your response...
Did you get the 130 approval notice after your interview? Is your 485 based on marriage to a US Citizen? I have heard that the 130 and 485 are approved at the same time if based on marriage to a US Citizen.
