I-130 approved month ago for F2A category application. What to expect next?

I am a permanent resident and I filed for my wife under F2A category.

Application priority date is 17-Jan-11 and I-130 was approved in June 2011. online case status at uscis site shows case in 'post decision activity'.

I-130 approval notice (i.e. I-797) was the last communication received. It said case forwarded to NVC and they will contact with further instructions. But no communication of any sort till now.

I have searched forums but could not find clear info on how the GC holder filing for spouse process goes. This forum is primarily filled with info on citizen filing for relatives. My two questions:

1) Who will NVS contact whenever they are ready? Will that be me on my US address or my wife at foreign address?
2) What is the process to update contact addresses with NVC in such a case?

Any other pointer describing the GC holder sponsoring relative process will be very helpful too.

Thanks!

So if anyone can tell:

When does NVC contact the applicant for fee and further documents? is it right after I-130 is approved or after the priority date become current?

I have not received any communication after I-130 was approved in June 2011. wondering if any letter got lost in mail.

Thanks.

I have had the same situation. My wife was permanent resident and she filed for me. You will not receive anything from them until your visa number is available. Right now visa bulletin for F2A category says June 2009 which means that you have to wait for another 1.5+ years for your visa number to be available. This process could go faster but it could also slow dan significantly.

When are you going to be eligible to become a US citizen? When did you get your GC.

Thanks for the info.

I called up NVC and the guy told me the same thing. BTW anyone who wants to change petitioner's or beneficiary's address while NVC is sitting on the case can either call NVC at (603)-334-0700 or email at NVCINQUERY@STATE.GOV with the I-130 WAC number to get the addresses updated. When the visa number is available NVC contacts both petitioner and the beneficiary by mail and emails petitioner at the address on the file.

I got my GC in 2004. But have a gap in residency so won't be eligible for citizenship until 2013.

Thanks.
