I-130 approved first; no longer K3 applicant??

Hello!

I hope there is someone out there who has shared a similar experience to this. We sent off our I-130 in January 2004, and our I-129F in March 2004 for a K3 visa.

In August, we were informed our I-130 had been approved; there has been no word on our I-129F. Currently the form is at the NVC, and they are sending us forms about the I-864 which seems to be for GREEN CARDS rather than the I-134 I had been expecting for the K visa.

After searching on the internet, I am beginning to wonder if I am no longer on the track for a K visa. If that is the case, does anyone know what visa they may be considering me for, or what the next step will be? I had done so much K research that I'm very lost in terms of what's is next if I am not headed for the Montreal consulate for a K interview as originally planned. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

Vermont center processes I-130 faster than National Service center processes I-129F. If I-130 was approved that is great news as you would get a GC directly rather than gets K3 visa and then applying for adjustment od status.

Good Luck.
